Job Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.

Hardware & Software Maintenance:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals;
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and updates of software applications.
  • Ensure that all IT equipment (including CCTV systems) is functioning optimally and in good condition.

User Account Management:

  • Create, modify, and manage user accounts and access permissions;
  • Handle password resets and ensure robust account security.

Network Support:

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues to maintain smooth operational flow;
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, repairs, inventory, and CCTV system maintenance;
  • Update and create documentation for common IT procedures, including CCTV setup and troubleshooting guides.

Security & Compliance:

  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures;
  • Ensure all systems, including CCTV networks, are up to date with the latest security patches and antivirus definitions.

User Training:

  • Provide basic training to users on the proper use of software, hardware, and CCTV systems;
  • Promote best practices for IT security, data management, and effective technology usage.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively;
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized IT teams when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred);
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (a plus);
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and the Office Suite;
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based services;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and network protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
