RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising and monitoring the labor force and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, track their status, and update the database accordingly.
- Review and analyze construction and shop drawings, and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with the specifications in the drawings.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of method statements.
- Execute site work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation and reports as required.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the project workforce.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings.
- Oversee quality control and ensure health and safety compliance on-site.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience; prior experience in building projects is an advantage.
- Strong ability to review and analyze drawings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Malaysia’s construction standards, design policies, and quality inspection requirements.
