Position: Food Delivery Fleet Manager

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Food Delivery Fleet Manager to lead and optimize our delivery fleet. The ideal candidate will oversee a large team of delivery riders, focusing on operational efficiency, performance, and strict adherence to company standards. This role requires a proactive leader capable of recruiting, training, and managing delivery teams, optimizing fleet usage, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Cross-border coordination with teams in Malaysia, Singapore and Bali Indonesia is essential to ensure smooth and consistent operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Training: Lead the hiring and onboarding process for new delivery riders, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. Develop and conduct ongoing training programs to enhance rider skills and adherence to company protocols.
• Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of the delivery fleet, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and utilization of all vehicles.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor and improve operational processes, focusing on reducing delivery times, optimizing routes, and maintaining delivery quality standards.
• Performance Management: Track and analyze rider performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery, rider retention rates, and delivery efficiency targets. Provide regular feedback and implement improvement plans where needed.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all delivery operations comply with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards.
• Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customer service teams to address delivery issues, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with teams across Malaysia, Singapore and Bali Indonesia to ensure smooth delivery operations, including cross-border logistics and compliance with all relevant regulations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• On-time delivery rate
• Rider retention and satisfaction
• Delivery efficiency (e.g. no. of trips per week)
• Fleet utilization and maintenance metrics

Requirements:

• License: Valid motorcycle license with own motorcycle
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in fleet management, preferably in food delivery.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, with a focus on performance improvement and staff development.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Food Delivery Operations: Experience with the food delivery platforms, including familiarity with route optimization and customer satisfaction metrics.
