Position: Truck Mechanic
Location: Seri Kembangan Selangor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance on trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with trucks, such as engine problems or faulty wiring.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

  • Replace or repair faulty parts in trucks, such as alternators, transmissions, or fuel systems.

  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems with trucks.

  • Follow safety procedures and regulations when working on trucks to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections on each truck.

  • Communicate with drivers and Operation Director to discuss any issues or repairs needed for the trucks.

  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in truck mechanics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a productive and safe workspace

  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when assigned by Management;

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a truck or heavy vehicle mechanic (3+ years is an advantage).

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and truck components.

  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints.

  • Good understanding of safety protocols in a workshop setting.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical fitness and stamina for handling heavy equipment and long hours.
