- Assists in the development of production schedules with the Production Manager and meet the maximum productivity, quality standards and customer delivery.
- Oversee day-to day operations by leading the production of several processes/lines within a highly technical environment.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety policy and another standard established such as HACCP, GMP, HALAL, SHE and etc.
- Implement, control and manage overall production activities.
- Assist with first line maintenance and preventative maintenance of machinery.
- Assist with on the job training and coaching of operators within the area of responsibility.
- Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments, rotations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employment, and shift rotations.
- Organise work flow by assigning responsibilities and allocating manpower where needed.
- Liaise with Quality department on quality problems and take the necessary counter measures to prevent re-occurance.
- Report process malfunction to the Production Manager and liaise with maintenance personnel to resolve the problem.
- Support team members for product mixing and monitor milk production to ensure smooth process.
- Liaise with other related departments to ensure production goals are realised.
- Disciplinary management-Engaged with ER / Superior in dealing with disciplinary problem
- Carry out any other assignments as may be given from time to time.
- Degree in process engineering, mechanical or other engineering related, Food Tech/ Food Science will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years or supervisory/ managing experience in manufacturing environment (UHT process / food production manufacturing will be an advantage)
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Able to work on shifts and/or flexible schedule
- Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement
- Good communication skill towards superior and subordinate.
- Strong leadership to leading team and also continues improve the team member by given coaching and developing plan.
