Main Responsibilities:

  • Regularly report to management on your own activities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for customers in Electronic Warfare Products.
  • Provide regular feedback to Head of Operations on the project status, support and relay information to Project Manager, KAM and Business Line (BL) with regards to the End-User needs and ensure those requirements are understood and taken into account into development roadmap.
  • This position requires the ability to convey technical detail to technical audiences and simplify it if needed for a non-technical audience. Attention to detail in conducting daily tasks should extend to emails as well as analysis and test thoroughness.
  • Manage critical and high visibility customer issues
  • Willing to seek and obtain support from other disciplines, co-workers and managers when needed, but seeks to develop product knowledge and will growing in responsibility level quickly.
  • Excellent attitude in all learning situations with a willingness to ask questions when needed. Confident and well-balanced approach to communication allows for training and demonstrated leadership opportunities during tasks – seeking to be correct always, at the same time understanding that this position requires continuous knowledge enhancement and learning is the goal.
  • Analyze and respond to all technical and non-technical queries accurately and clearly. Excellent Technical Aptitude and Customer Service Skills are of prime importance.
  • Ensure onsite support up to level 2 (by travel or in remote) and ensure escalation process to development teams when needed.
  • Support the Failure Review Board (FRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) to ensure failures/issues reported are being identified, monitored, and have a proper Corrective Action to produce the highest reliability and lowest number of removals possible. Proper documentation of process decisions will be required according to established processes
  • Takes the lead in root cause investigations, corrective action plans, technical validations and independently follows through to process completion.
  • Support KAM and Business Line (BL) in relation to Electronic Warfare Product market to End-User in Malaysia and/or region (if required) in relation to workshops, demo, product trial.
  • Provide Technical Business Development support of Electronic Warfare to KAMs.
  • Support the generation of bids and estimates in the product support arena

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic engineering / Computer Engineer or equivalent
  • 8+ years related electrical hardware design and analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience as Trainer/Instructor is desired.
  • Project management office experience interest necessary.
  • Read and interpret documents such as schematic, technical drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
