PROTEGE RTW - MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/HULL ENGINEER ( 8POST) Requirements: BACHELOR IN DEGREE IN ENGINEERING OR RELEVANT MAJORS. METICULOUS, ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY WITH MINIMUM SUPERVISION. POSSESS GOOD INTERPERSONAL SKILL AND ABLE TO ACTIVELY INTERACT WITH ALL LEVELS OF PEOPLE. ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND MEET DEADLINES. RESPONSIBILITY Assist Head of Project Management (HOPM) on Naval,hull, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering progression and planning of work. To liaise with client on planning and implementation of work. Monitoring of work and guide related section and contractor on work arrangement and progression of work as per schedule and discuss for any changes that occur. To help monitor and arrange of work if other engineer(s) on leave or outstation. Assist yard management such as accommodation, ensure cleanliness and safety. Material and verification of subcontractor’s capability, explaining scope of subcontractors for RFQ, confirming material requisition, and received. To do survey on respective equipment for any agencies (RFQ and GURDEF). Attending or reporting daily for project management review and Updating progress report (Weekly & Monthly) of respective system. Maintaining yard electrical, mechanical, infrastructure and machinery. Coordinate service report documentation to ensure deliverables meet requirements. Prepare, organize, and distribute all necessary project materials, database of tasks and status. Collaborate on project presentations, design, and develop project schedule. Measure and report on project performance. Analyze project data and produce progress reports, analyze critical path and constraint to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around. Plan and supervise the construction of vessels, interpret, and analyse data and test results. Produce detailed designs of ships, boats and other maritime vessel using drawings and specialist computer software. Develop and utilize test procedure including computer modelling and scale models. Perform any other duties assigned by the management or supervisor.
