  • PREFERABLY CANDIDATE WITH SUPERMARKET WORKING EXPERIENCE
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as Assistant Branch Manager for high turnover cash and carry / hypermarket / supermarket with more than 70 staffs under your supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure, fast paced environment and long hours
  • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to solve practical problems
  • Good human management skills
  • Willing to be based in any branch as directed by Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Branch Manager in managing the overall branch daily operation, including floor display, stock management, manpower deployment and allocation, equipment and overall branch maintenance, permit and license, etc.
  • To be accountable for the performance and profitability of the branch
  • To be responsible for the management of all staff and workers for the branch, including training, coaching and supervising the staff, ensuring all staff and workers work according to all Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) Set.
  • Monitoring and analysing sales turn over for efficient stock ordering achieving maximum profitability
  • Consistently reviewing floor display to ensure efficient space usage and shelf display
  • Reviewing and maximising sales of Gondola and block display.
  • To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all the area of the branch including selling floor, warehouse and cool room.
  • To be in-charged of the proper maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and fixtures and fitting of the branch.
  • To ensure the efficient ordering of goods and sufficient stock supply at all times, no out of stock and no over order situation for the branch.
  • To ensure no obsolete stock at display shelf and warehouse through proper stock planning and regular stock checking.
  • To ensure proper handling of perishable items to minimize wastages
  • To be responsible for verifying P/O quantity and profit margin and stock balance
  • To be responsible for the recording, checking and daily updating stock balance for the control items
  • Knowledge and awareness of market trend in retail industry and to increase sales of the company

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
