Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and oversee all powder coating operations, ensuring that equipment is operated and maintained in line with safety, quality, and production standards. 2. Lead, train, and mentor the powder coating team, ensuring consistent application of coatings and adherence to quality control procedures. 3. Coordinate with production management to meet daily and weekly output targets as per Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management. 4. Oversee the preparation of parts for powder coating, including degreasing, de-rusting and pretreatment ensuring all surfaces are free of contaminants. 5. Ensure even and consistent powder coating application on all sheet metal components, monitoring the curing process for optimal results. 6. Set up, calibrate, and adjust powder coating equipment as needed for different jobs, including color changes and cleaning between production runs. 7. Conduct quality inspections on finished products, identifying any coating defects and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly. 8. Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime, while reporting any malfunctions to the relevant personnel. 9. Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing powder coating efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality. 10. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the powder coating area, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). 11. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the powder coating area to prevent contamination and improve workflow efficiency. 12. Track and report production data, including coating quality, output, downtime, and waste, to management for performance evaluations. 13. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management from time to time Requirements: 1. Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. 2. At least 3-5 years of experience in powder coating, with leadership or supervisory experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment. 3. Proficiency in operating and maintaining powder coating equipment, including proper color change and cleaning procedures. 4. Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations. 5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules. 6. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying coating defects and ensuring corrective actions are taken. 8. Ability to manage and train a team effectively, ensuring consistent quality and high productivity. 9. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines. 10. Physically capable of working in a shop environment, including standing for long periods, and exposure to coating particles, moderate noise, and other environmental factors
