System Analyst

Key Responsibilities: 1. Linux Administration: * Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.). * Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security hardening. * Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems. 2. Container Orchestration: * Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for container management and orchestration. * Deploy and manage containerized applications and microservices. 3. Monitoring and Alerting: * Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health. * Respond to alerts promptly, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. 4. Virtualization and Hypervisors: * Experience with hypervisors like RHEV Hypervisor and VMware. * Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) and maintain virtualized environments. 5. DevOps Skills: * Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and enhance CI/CD pipelines. * Scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, or Ansible. 6. Troubleshooting: * Identify and resolve system and application-related issues. * Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. 7. ITIL: * Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles for incident, problem, and change management. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). * Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role. * Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting. * Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). * Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisors (RHEV Hypervisor, VMware). * DevOps experience and skills in automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins). * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * RHCE/CKA/OpenShift certification is a plus
