We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and optimize our e-commerce artwork sales efforts. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving online sales through our digital platform, managing key accounts, developing effective sales strategies, and working closely with marketing and operations teams to enhance the customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective online sales strategies to increase revenue, customer acquisition, and retention across all e-commerce channels (website, online marketplaces, social media platforms).
  • Online Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and personalized art recommendations through digital touchpoints, such as email, chat, and phone consultations.
  • Product Knowledge and Curation: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the artwork portfolio, including artists, styles, and trends, to effectively guide customers in their online purchases and help curate product offerings.
  • Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition: Identify new potential customers and increase traffic to the online store through targeted outreach, SEO strategies, content marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Sales Conversion Optimization: Work closely with the digital marketing team to optimize conversion rates, ensuring an intuitive and seamless buying experience on the website and increasing sales opportunities.
  • Customer Support & Consultation: Provide pre-sale consultations and post-sale support to customers via email, live chat, or phone, ensuring a high-quality and personalized experience.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor online sales performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, operations, and inventory teams to ensure the timely delivery of artworks, create compelling product listings, and design promotional campaigns to drive sales.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce sales representatives, providing guidance and training on sales techniques, customer service, and the platform’s features.
  • Customer Feedback & Product Strategy: Collect customer feedback and market insights to inform product assortment, online merchandising, and marketing strategies.
  • Market Trends & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on art market trends, competitors’ offerings, and emerging technologies to keep the company’s e-commerce experience competitive and relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce sales, preferably in the art industry, luxury goods, or a related online sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of online sales platforms and digital marketing strategies (e.g., SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and convert leads into sales.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Deep passion for art, with a strong understanding of various art forms, artists, and current trends in the art market..
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Experience in creating or overseeing compelling product descriptions, online listings, and visual content to drive sales.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional digital experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Art History, or a related field.
  • Experience managing or optimizing e-commerce sales in the art sector.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing, and online advertising specific to the art world.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
