Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to maintain and manage our fleet of marine assets. This role will focus on the upkeep, diagnostics, and repair of marine diesel engines and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and smooth operation of our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine diesel engines and associated systems.
  • Overhaul and rebuild engines, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections, identify issues, and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Maintain detailed service logs and reports for all company assets.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule engine services and repairs.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance.
  • Stay current on diesel engine technologies and recommend upgrades as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with marine diesel engines and systems.
  • Knowledge of major diesel engine brands (e.g., Mitsubishi, Caterpillar, Cummins, MAN).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
  • Certification in marine diesel engine repair is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
