Senior Project Engineer

Key tasks include: • Develop and monitor detailed schedules for aluminium and glazing installation, ensuring alignment with the main construction timeline. • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to integrate façade designs into the overall project plan. • Oversee procurement, delivery, and inventory management of aluminium and glazing materials. • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and design plans for curtain walls, windows, and other façade systems. • Ensure the execution of installations adheres to structural, safety, and aesthetic requirements. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during installation. • Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure all materials and installations meet international standards. • Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations. • Ensure façade systems meet performance benchmarks such as wind load resistance, thermal efficiency, and acoustic insulation. • Enforce safety protocols, especially for high-altitude works • Identify and mitigate risks associated with aluminium and glazing installations. • Conduct regular site audits to ensure safe working conditions. • Engage with the main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors to address challenges and ensure project milestones are achieved. • Provide regular progress updates to the client and project management team. • Foster strong communication among all stakeholders to streamline project execution. • Monitor resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency. • Track project costs related to aluminium and glazing works and ensure budget adherence. • Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or design. Key skills: • Deep understanding of advanced aluminium and glazing systems, including curtain walls, unitized systems, and complex façade designs. • Extensive experience managing façade and glazing works for high-rise buildings, including supertall structures exceeding 30 stories. • Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and automated installation methods. • Experience with international projects and familiarity with global standards in façade engineering. • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve on-site technical challenges effectively. • Skilled in using AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools to streamline design and execution.
