Senior Technical Engineer

Key tasks include: • Develop and review detailed technical plans, designs, and shop drawings for aluminum and glazing works. • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure compatibility of aluminum and glazing systems with overall project design. • Oversee material selection and specification to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. • Manage the supply, fabrication, and installation of aluminum and glazing systems for the office, hotel, and condominium towers. • Supervise subcontractors and technical teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications. • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to technical requirements. • Address technical challenges, such as structural integration, thermal insulation, and weatherproofing of façade systems. • Recommend innovative solutions and advanced installation methods to optimize project efficiency and quality. • Communicate with stakeholders, including the main contractor, consultants, and suppliers, to ensure seamless execution. • Provide technical guidance and insights to the project management team and local workforce. • Implement stringent quality control measures for fabrication and installation. • Ensure all works comply with local building codes, safety standards, and international engineering practices. • Train and mentor local engineers and technicians on advanced aluminum and glazing systems. • Facilitate knowledge transfer to enhance local workforce skills and competency. • Contributing to the skill development of local engineers and technicians, fostering long-term capacity building. • Aluminum and glazing projects, bringing advanced knowledge and skills to meet the project's unique demands. • Access to advanced technologies and methods in façade engineering, ensuring efficient and high-quality results. Key skills: • Strong knowledge of aluminum and glazing systems, including curtain walls, windows, and façade cladding. • Familiarity with structural and thermal performance requirements for high-rise façade systems. • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects, particularly mixed-use developments. • Proficiency in scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. • Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and façade engineering analysis tools. • Experience with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project. • Ability to address and resolve technical and logistical challenges effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
