- Help in preparing and cooking dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and chefs to assist in completing cooking tasks within the specified time frame.
- Be prepared to help with various kitchen tasks as needed, such as arranging food according to customer orders or assisting in plating.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning kitchen stations and utensils after use.
- Ensure proper storage of food in accordance with safety standards, including storing items in the storeroom and freezer as needed.
- Uphold kitchen hygiene practices by maintaining cleanliness of hands, nails, and clothing, following the dress code and wearing proper hair and hand coverings.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and clean before use in food preparation.
- Inspect food before IT is served to customers, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Learn to handle kitchen equipment safely and ensure it is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food service.
- Communicate openly with supervisors and colleagues to support team goals and maintain a positive working environment.
- Take the initiative in seeking guidance and clarifying tasks when necessary.
- Follow supervisor instructions and actively learn kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
- Gain practical experience in managing food preparation, cooking stations, and adhering to food safety standards.
- Contribute to the success of the kitchen team by providing assistance and demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.
