JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Coordinate and manage event preparation, including administrative and operational needs. 2. Work with creative or project supervision, exercising judgment within defined procedures and objectives. 3. Work with internal departments and personnel to coordinate associated deliverables and functions. 4. Act as a liaison to outside guests and advisors. 5. Ensure that projects meet deadlines by adhering to schedules, identifying potential delays, and reporting to the manager. 6. Plan event details and aspects, including venue preparation, dining, transportation (vehicles & drivers), décor, equipment, marketing & presentation materials, accommodations, and services inside the event area. 7. Manage events and address potential problems that may arise. 8. Have problem-solving skills and determination to overcome challenges and ensure that events meet management expectations. 9. Assist with the setup, execution, and clean-up of an event. 10. Be an excellent communicator in professional and business settings. 11. Develop post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event. 12. Be proficient in computers, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 13. Plan travel, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation. 14. Coordinate with internal staff, clients, and vendors to establish the requirements for an event and serve as a liaison to senior executives, government officials, and industry leaders throughout the planning process.
