Job Descriptions : 1. Provide legal support and advice to the management as well as different departments on legal matters and issues arising from the operational business including but not limited to compliance matters. 2. To draft, review and advice on all types of contracts, agreements and legal documents, provide legal advice for the business activities, and resolve legal issues/disputes. 3. Work with Human Resources to review and update the following company policies/employee agreements. Draft or review Employee Handbook (ensure compliance with labor law) from time to time. 4. Monitor, coordinate, and handle litigation matters which include taking instruction from management, liaise, correspond, and prepare written instructions to external lawyers and advisors, updating litigation records and status report and check legal bills for payment. 5. Work with internal audit to test key parts of the audit compliance program. Review and monitor compliance program in all the business operation and audit. 6. To manage the Company's legal risk matters to ensure required interests are protected, minimize risk exposure, manage financial and other liabilities adequately to the Company's interests. 7. To update and maintain organization's corporate profile and corporate governance on digital content in Facebook, LinkedIn and Company's website. 8. To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by immediate superior or management. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent. 2. Preferably Legal Practice certified or any certifications from other professional bodies. 3. At least 2 years of in-house or legal firm experience. 4. Strong knowledge of commercial laws and practices. 5. Experience in corporate and litigation matter. 6. Experience in drafting, vetting, review and negotiating contract. 7. Meticulous and competence in reading/interpreting contract and legal documents. 8. Able to work independently or with minimum supervision. 9. Analytical, meticulous, and able to deliver quality result within tight deadlines. 8. Good communications skills – written & verbal.
