Site Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain quality and safety standards at the site. The ideal candidate will manage workers, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project goals effectively. -------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities 1. Site Management: - Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and progress. - Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of on-site staff. - Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations. 2. Project Coordination: - Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to implement plans and designs. - Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and on-site storage. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets specifications. 3. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of site activities, including attendance, progress, and incidents. - Report progress, challenges, and updates to the project management team. - Ensure all paperwork, permits, and approvals are in place. 4. Problem-Solving: - Address and resolve site issues promptly to avoid project delays. - Manage conflicts between workers or subcontractors professionally. 5. Budget and Resource Management: - Monitor resource allocation to avoid wastage or shortages. - Assist in controlling project expenses by adhering to budgets. -------------------------------------------- Requirements 1. Qualifications: - Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Valid CIDB Green Card (Malaysia-specific) or equivalent safety certification. 2. Experience: - Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role. - Proven track record of managing construction projects successfully. 3. Skills: - Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 4. Other Requirements - Willingness to work at construction sites, sometimes in challenging environments. - Flexibility to work extended hours if needed to meet project deadlines.
