Tooling Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for tool and die making assembly section on new tooling, modifications, trouble-shooting, sample preparation, tooling testing, repairs and etc. 2. To plan, monitor, and co-ordinate among Tool Maker (P.I.C) on projects and achievement of the parts base on design lay-out. 3. Involve with tooling (P.I.C), designer, production control on tooling discussion, co-ordination on design lay-out. 4. To design and make new tooling and manage projects from conception to find manufacture. 5. To assist on practical job in any other department when required. 6. To train and supervise a team of parts dimension according to customer specification and requirements. 7. To design and make complete set of punch and die tooling for metal stamping for progressive, compound ad separate processes and to ensure these tooling give the best performance. 8. Responsible for tooling assembly taken-up individually as (P.I.C) of the tool and sample testing for submission. SKILL 1. Thoroughly understand engineering principals and techniques related to job responsibilities. 2. Good leadership & communication skill. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1. Minimum 6years work in metal stamping industry.
