The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Identify and secure potential customers, market verticals, and industry segments with strong growth potential.
- Actively secure new customers per agreed annual targets.
- Develop international trades lanes by working closely with the other company’s offices and overseas agents.
- Proven track record in sales and business development in the Malaysian market.
- Self-starter requiring minimum supervision.
- Experience in managing sales visits/sales pipelines/sales reporting via CRM sales tool.
- Manage sales visits, pipelines and reporting via CRM tools.
- Deliver compelling presentation with excellent communication skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Diploma / Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Familiar knowledge in freight forwarding industry.
- Experience in managing sales/pipelines/reporting via CRM tools.
- Proficient in both English and local language – written and verbal.
- Possess customer service mindset and data analytical approach.
- Highly motivated to learn new processes, received feedback and work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and team player.
