The Junior Accounts Receivable (AR) will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable team in managing the company’s incoming payments, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining positive customer relationships. This position involves a combination of clerical tasks, data entry, customer interaction, and reporting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management:
- Assist in the creation, distribution, and tracking of invoices to customers.
- Ensure that all invoices are issued on time and in accordance with customer agreements.
Payment Collection:
- Monitor and track customer payments, ensuring timely receipt of outstanding balances.
- Follow up on overdue accounts via phone, email, or mail to ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies or issues.
Record Keeping and Reconciliation:
- Accurately record and update customer payments in the accounting system.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable to ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded.
Reporting:
- Assist in preparing AR aging reports to highlight overdue accounts.
- Prepare and send reports to management on the status of accounts receivable and collections efforts.
Data Entry and General AR Support:
- Input and update customer information into the accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
Assist in Month-End Close:
- Support the AR team during month-end closing by ensuring all accounts are up to date.
- Assist in preparing reports for management, including aging summaries and outstanding balances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting, or finance (internship or entry-level experience is acceptable).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for dealing with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
