Draughtsman (MEP Coordinator)

Responsibilities :

• Create Technical Drawings and plans by using AutoCad Software based on the specifications and rough sketches.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project requirements.
• Responsible for the design, coordination, supervision, and implementation of mechanical building services such as HVAC system, Fire Protection system, Lift System and etc.
• Handle the design, coordination, supervision, and implementation of electrical building services such as Electrical systems, Extra Low Voltage and etc.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth coordination.
• Liaise with local authorities and collaborate with other consultant teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Attend all project meetings as needed and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate method statements, work procedures, checklists, and inspection & test plans when necessary.
• Update and modify drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain organised records of all drawings and revisions.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the drafting process.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
• Relevant certification in CAD drafting is advantageous.
• Experiences in a CAD drafting role, preferably within construction or civil engineering.
• Understanding of engineering and architectural principles and practices
• Familiarity with other CAD software like Revit, SolidWorks, or Navisworks is a plus.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
