Responsibilities:
Group Mental Health Program Facilitation
- Plan, organize, and deliver group presentations, workshops, and team-building programs focused on mental health and well-being.
- Utilize counseling knowledge to design engaging and interactive sessions addressing topics such as stress management, emotional resilience, and relationship building.
- Create and facilitate activities that promote mental health awareness, team cohesion, and personal growth.
Program Development and Customization
- Develop and tailor mental health programs to meet the unique needs of corporate teams, schools, or community groups.
- Integrate evidence-based counseling techniques and psychological tools into program content to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives for each session or workshop.
Individual Support During Programs
- Offer individual support or short counseling sessions during workshops or team-building events when needed.
- Identify participants who may benefit from further individual counseling and provide appropriate recommendations or referrals.
Professional Knowledge Application
- Leverage your professional counseling background to provide credible insights and guidance during programs.
- Share practical mental health strategies and tools with participants to enhance their well-being and productivity.
Documentation and Feedback
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of program content, participant feedback, and session outcomes.
- Use feedback to improve program quality and ensure participant needs are met effectively.
Collaboration and Research
- Work collaboratively with senior counselors and program designers to enhance content and delivery methods.
- Participate in research and development to stay updated on the latest trends and practices in mental health and team-building.
Crisis Management and Support
- Provide immediate support during any emotional or psychological challenges that may arise during group sessions.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Education and Prevention
- Educate participants on mental health awareness, self-care techniques, and preventive strategies.
- Promote positive mental health practices that participants can incorporate into their daily lives.
Requirements and skills
- at least Master’s program (in-progress) in psychology, counselling, therapeutic or a related field
- 1-2 years’ full-time experience (with basic licensing required by regional standards)
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Have strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to Conducting group session for clients, Assist Senior Level in case documentation, cofacilitating groups or workshops, continuing education or R&D.
- Can works under regular supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
