Job Summary:
The Operations Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data, performing analysis, developing and executing demand and supply chain plans that ensure that optimal outcomes are achieved. The position will support the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes and the improvement of operational efficiency and planning accuracy. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives. The position will require the development of planning models by using of various planning systems and tools with depth investigation, understanding and analysis of new product development and all commercially launched products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering and analyzing data, performing analysis, developing and executing demand and supply chain plans that ensure that optimal outcomes are achieved.
- Assist with supply chain and operation system core team to develop and maintain supply chain planning models.
- Collaborate with cross functions/sites team members to collect data and manufacturing information to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and master data integrity.
- Collaborate with the project management team on New Product Introduction, implementing the demand plan and transition plan based on the product life cycle.
- Perform routine forecast and safety stock update and review for finished good SKUs.
- Calculate, verify and monitor forecast and production mode accuracy. Conducts analysis of statistical forecasting models and global demand forecasting planning and identify solutions for future improvement.
- Review production build plan for finished goods and all sub-assembly parts on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis for business reporting.
- Create and maintain checklists to ensure all steps in demand planning process are followed and tracked to completion.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Performs detailed analysis of all required inputs, develops plans with cross-functional input to ensure an optimal transition occurs from prior generation product (phase out) to next generation product (ramp-up) such that obsolete inventory is minimized, and new products are launched on time as desired, customer satisfaction is achieved, and inventory levels are optimized.
- Works closely and collaborates with Sales and Marketing, Document Control, Engineering, Global Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Customer Service peers to ensure complete requirements are understood and forecast requirements are understood, and company supply chain goals are essentially understood and achieved.
- Consistently monitors, reviews, analyzes and identifies issues or concerns, develops solutions, communicates and updates on project status and adjusts project plans as required to keep projects on track such that optimal outcomes will be achieved.
- Support the identification of process improvements and contribute to the implementation of optimization initiatives. Create and update process documents, flows and knowledge artefacts to standardize overall operations planning processes at Masimo.
- Conduct and reconcile the capacity and constraint planning parameters to ensure the production plans achieve business target in monthly, quarterly, and annually basis.
- Collaborates with IT/IS as required to develop and improve planning and operational tools and systems to optimize operations management analysis capability and management functionality.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0~5 years’ work experience for Jr Analyst, 5~8 years' experience for Analyst, 8+ years' experience for Sr. Analyst.
- Experience in Demand & Supply Chain Planning, Constraint Capacity Planning and Inventory Planning and Management.
- Advanced Excel Skills, Data management tools, database, ETL, Microsoft SQL, and SSIS/SSAS/SSRS.
- ERP/MRP system experience, such as Rapid Response (R&R), Oracle, SAP, or other major ERP/MRO systems.
- Must have excellent analytical, planning, project management, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Must have a strong understanding and experience working with Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics/Distribution, and Customer Service, etc..
- Must have in-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing Operations, Value-Added, Supply Chain, Forecasting and Continuous Flow methodologies.
- Must have the ability to synthesize and filter inputs from multiple resources to key in on the important influences which will impact success.
- Must be able to consider both micro and macro levels; internal and external forces as it relates to plans and execution of plans.
- Must have the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and professional individual contributors.
- Project management experience.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering related field, Master’s Degree in Engineering field is preferred.
(Engineering fields examples: Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronic, industry, Mathematics, Information Technology, Data Science, Supply Chain, Statistic, etc..)
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
