We’re looking to hire a creative, analytical, and dedicated Digital Content Writer with Mandarin Proficiency to develop and execute English and Mandarin content and campaigns, ensuring that they are on brand and add value to existing and potential clients.

From evaluating analytics to adjust digital content as needed to conceptualising creative campaign strategies and generating creative copy, an outstanding Digital Content Writer should be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content, determine the best formats for various types of content, identify ways to increase brand awareness, and conduct keyword research with the latest SEO techniques. You should also be able to analyse user engagement metrics and content sentiments, and demonstrate exceptional content presentation skills. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.

Responsibilities.

Content Development

    -Collaborate across departments to identify business-related needs and recommend new content to address gaps in current content. -Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content. -Conceptualise and materialise clear, engaging, and brand consistent content and campaigns that address both business goals and consumer needs. -Create, adjust, and manage editorial content calendars, proposals, and business-related content with SEO and general writing best practices. -Develop innovative strategies and concepts that drive the overall creative direction of a campaign or brand, focusing on the messaging, branding, and visual and experiential elements of marketing. -Provide strategic counsel in content planning, development, and overall strategies for various projects, including social media management, integrated digital campaigns, and key initiatives. -Perform content audits and gap analyses to determine content errors and inconsistencies, while editing and polishing existing content to improve readability. -Assure all-around consistency for textual styles, visuals, fonts, and tones of content. -Oversee all content-related projects and deliverables to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency.
    -Proven work experience as a Copywriter, Content Manager, or similar roles in content writing. -Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, International Relations, or any other related field. -At least 1-3 year(s) of experience in related fields. Agency background is an advantage. -Strong digital-first mindset in content strategy and writing, with sound knowledge of using social media for business. -Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, keyword research tools, search engine optimisation (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM). -Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing is preferred, knowledge in data and performance marketing will be of added value. -Impeccable command of English and Mandarin for writing and publishing. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia will be a huge plus. -Excellent analytical skills and strong content presentation skills. -Outstanding collaborative ability, project management skills, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to engage, persuade, and advise various key stakeholders on content related subjects. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment. -Proactive, resourceful, innovative, analytical, and detail-oriented.
