The Role
- Taking orders from customers
- Answering questions about menu items, food sensitivities and food substitutions
- Giving customers suggestions for food and drinks and telling them about any special menu items
- Serving beverages and delivering food to customers
- Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any complaints
- Processing customer payments
- Manage inventory and ensuring supplies are sufficient and placing order when necessary
- Checking bill casting
- Training and assisting junior colleagues
- Removing dirty dishes from tables to avoid clutter while customers are eating
- Cleaning tables after customers have finished their meals
- Ensuring outlet is always clean and presentable
- Report to Manager regarding any defects or issues during work
- Guiding and training junior colleagues and assisting the managers
- Ad hoc projects or other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experienced in service operations in a (formal) restaurant with minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience in grill kitchen will be favorable considered
- Individuals who are driven and organized
