Key Responsibilities:

• Test Support and Setup:
• Assist in setting up test equipment and instruments for product or component testing.
• Prepare and organize materials, samples, and test environments according to specifications and test protocols.
• Ensure that testing areas are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary tools.
• Conducting Basic Tests:
• Perform basic testing tasks under supervision, such as running automated tests or simple visual inspections.
• Monitor tests and record data accurately in test logs or digital formats.
• Assist in running functional, safety, or performance tests on products or components.
• Data Recording and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of test results, including any anomalies, observations, or failures.
• Input and update test data into the appropriate databases or spreadsheets.
• Prepare test reports for review by supervisors or senior engineers.
• Quality Control Support:
• Ensure that the products or components being tested meet quality and safety standards.
• Document and report any discrepancies or failures that occur during testing.
• Help maintain inventory of test equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on test equipment, including cleaning, calibrating, and ensuring all instruments are functioning properly.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the relevant personnel for repair or replacement.
• Test Environment Organization:
• Organize and manage test schedules, ensuring that tests are conducted according to timelines.
• Assist in maintaining an orderly and efficient test environment, keeping track of testing procedures and protocols.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Communicate testing results and any issues clearly to supervisors or engineering teams.
• Follow up on outstanding testing tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Compliance with Safety and Quality Standards:
• Ensure that all tests are conducted in compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Follow established testing protocols and work instructions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
