1)Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of engineering contracts, including but not limited to, service agreements, procurement contracts, and project financing agreements. 2)Understand contractual terms and conditions, methodology, the scope of work, compensation schedule, project milestones/critical path, and contract administration requirements before executing the contract. 3)All appropriate contract management and administration procedures are in place 4)Define procurement and logistical deliverables and put them together. 5)Ensure that the contractor’s monitoring tools are properly placed for planning and that qualified procurement and contracting personnel are available to execute contracts 6)Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and advise management on the legal and financial implications. 7)Coordinate with project managers and other engineering staff to ensure contract specifications are met and identify any potential issues in project execution. 8)Implement and manage contract management tools, databases, and software to ensure efficient tracking, monitoring, and reporting of contract status, compliance, and performance. 9)Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients, to resolve any contract-related disputes or negotiations in a timely and effective manner. 10)Ensure all engineering projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and environmental guidelines. 11)Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business strategies and goals to align contract negotiation and management processes with organizational objectives. 12)Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of contract terms and conditions, identifying lessons learned and making recommendations for future contract strategies.
