- Driving and Delivery: Safely transport catering supplies, food, and equipment to event locations in a timely manner. Ensure proper handling to maintain food quality and prevent damage to equipment.
- Event Setup and Takedown: Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and catering stations according to client requirements and company standards. After the event, assist with dismantling and reloading equipment.
- Purchasing and Stock Management: Purchase necessary stock and supplies for upcoming events, ensuring all items are available and in good condition. Maintain clear records of stock purchases and work closely with the management on inventory needs.
- Coordination with Kitchen Crew: Liaise closely with the kitchen crew to confirm food orders, timings, and any special event requirements. Ensure clear communication for smooth event preparation and execution.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload catering supplies and equipment from the vehicle, handling items carefully to avoid damage.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customer on-site, prepared to accommodate last-minute adjustments as requested.
- Team Support: Work closely with event crew and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Be willing to assist in additional tasks as required by the event or the company.
- Safety and Maintenance: Ensure the company vehicle is regularly maintained and kept in clean condition. Report any vehicle issues promptly to management.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving, event setup, and/or stock management is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with the kitchen and event teams.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift moderately heavy items.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
