Contract Executive / Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsiblities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage tender documents, cost and budget estimations, and submit tenders within specified deadlines; attend tender interviews as needed.
  • Handle monthly progress claims, manage variation orders, finalize accounts, and prepare payment certificates for projects.
  • Draft and issue Letters of Award/Appointment for subcontractors.
  • Enquire, source, negotiate, and shortlist subcontractors and suppliers for current and upcoming projects.
  • Attend site meetings and conduct site valuations as required.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and effective project implementation.
  • Maintain thorough records of contract documentation and ensure all files are up-to-date.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and support final account documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and project efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Min 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): MS Excel, Problem Solving, Communication, Negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience in contract law or related certifications is an advantage
  • Preferably specialized in Quantity Surveying with Interior Design background or equivalent experience
