Store Keeper We are on the lookout for a meticulous and responsible Storekeeper to join our team at the production and distribution heart of our operations. The selected individual will play a crucial role in managing our inventory with precision and diligence. The Storekeeper will be the stronghold ensuring the integrity and flow of our stock, from incoming raw materials to the dispatch of final products. Principal Duties: • Stock Handling: Manage the reception, categorization, and shipment of inventory while maintaining strict adherence to handling protocols to minimize stock discrepancies and damage. • Inventory Control: Keep a rigorous account of inventory transactions, regularly perform stock verifications, and swiftly resolve any inventory discrepancies. • Quality Checks: Carry out thorough inspections of all incoming and outgoing stock to verify product quality and specification compliance, systematically addressing any inconsistencies or defects. • Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory, sales, and stock movements, and compile reports that support business and supply chain decision-making. • Order Management: Efficiently process and fill orders, and manage the precise flow of materials through the use of inventory databases. • Workspace Management: Uphold a clean and safe store environment, ensuring that storage areas are organized and comply with safety regulations. • Replenishing stock inventories following established company guidelines. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with government regulations. • Managing the store layout. • Supervising other staff members and maintaining a record of sales. • Receiving, loading, and shelving all supplies. • Performing stock-related tasks such as returning, packaging, labeling, and pricing goods. • Inspecting deliveries for discrepancies or damage. • Reporting damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement. • Rotating stock and disposing of surplus and expired quantities. • Coordinating and handling freight and equipment movement. • Ensuring organized allocation of inventory placed in the warehouse and store. • Cross-verifying the monthly report at the end of each month. • Ensuring proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase. • Generating a Material Received Report (MRR) in a timely manner. • Ensuring proper storage of goods following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method. • Manage data for inventory Qualifications: • Educational Background: Possession of an education in warehouse management being highly advantageous. • Work Experience: Demonstrable experience in a storekeeping, inventory management, or related role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Skill Set: • Expertise in using inventory management software and database systems. • Robust organizational skills paired with the ability to manage time effectively. • A sharp eye for detail to maintain high standards of inventory accuracy. • Physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks including lifting and extended periods of standing. • Strong communication abilities and the aptitude for teamwork. • Certifications: Any certifications in inventory or supply chain management would be beneficial Working Environment: This role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting, bending, and long periods on your feet. The primary workspace will be within the inventory storage and warehouse segments of our facility.
