Product Engineer

• Responsible to complete the customer's immature design proposal into the final design. • Formulate quotation plans and produce research reports for new process technologies. • Responsible for cost assessment requirements of in-house developed products. • Responsible to communicate technical issues during ODM and in-house product quotation stages. • Responsible for cost assessment requirements of OEM/ODM projects. • Organize the participating departments to interpret customer quotation information together and confirm with the quotation team on raw materials, mold schemes, production schemes, and packaging schemes; (If it involves immature customer design that require our company's design support, as well as projects involving new technologies and processes, it needs to be transferred to product designers to provide design and quotation plans) • Generate a quotation requisition to includes all components for the project, consumables, packaging materials, production equipment, etc. • Evaluate structural risk points and summarize mold and production process risk points. After project kick off, compile and present the summary to the project manager. • Follow up on the cost assessment progress of each participating department in the quotation. • Responsible to communicate issues during the OEM quotation stage.
