Project Engineer

- Assist project manager in planning, directing and coordinating the design, procurement and construction of engineering projects. - Interpreting and debrief on construction drawings, specifications and project ISO. - Assist or independently prepare & draft project specific documents, related to overall project execution, task workflow, project schedule, method statement, test plan, quality assurance plan, emergency action plan. - Liaise with multiple parties to prepare project safety related document, including prepare work permits, emergency contact, safety plan, site registration, lifting plan etc. - Coordinate manpower resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment, management of project resources on site. - Establishing and managing budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources. - Negotiating with clients, consultants and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Assist in preparing tenders and contract bids. - Operating and implementing coordinated work schedules for sites. - Ensuring adherence to project method of statement, standards of performance, quality plan, cost budgeting and safety requirement. Design and Engineering Conceptual and Detailed Design: Prepare mechanical system designs, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, or machinery layouts. Perform design calculations for load, flow, stress, and thermal analysis. Drafting and Modeling: Create and review CAD models and drawings using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit. Perform simulations and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs. Technical Documentation: Develop design specifications, technical reports, and system documentation. Prepare a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs. Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry standards, codes (e.g., ASME, ISO), and regulatory requirements.
