Shipping Executive

Key Responsibilities: Shipping Coordination: Organize and manage outbound shipments to customers, including scheduling transportation and coordinating with freight carriers. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels. Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure products are ready for shipment and that stock levels are maintained. Verify that all goods are packed properly to prevent damage during transportation. Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and any issues that may arise. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns related to shipping and delivery. Documentation and Compliance: Prepare all necessary shipping and customs documentation, including export/import documents, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure that shipments adhere to company policies and international shipping standards. Cost Control: Identify opportunities for cost-saving in shipping and logistics, such as negotiating better rates with carriers. Monitor shipping expenses and report discrepancies or excessive costs to the management. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently. Assist with resolving any issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or damaged goods. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays, incorrect shipments, and damaged goods, in a professional and timely manner. Work with vendors and suppliers to resolve transportation or customs-related issues. Reporting and Records: Maintain accurate records of shipping transactions and update databases with tracking information and delivery statuses. Prepare and submit regular shipping reports to management, highlighting any issues or improvements.
