Full job description Job Responsibilities: -Identify key requirements of various roles across our multi-brand retail stores and headquarters, subsequently selecting suitable channels for job advertisement placements and evaluation of the recruitment process -Managing and executing full-life cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference check, selection, offer negotiation and onboarding. -Proactive high-level sourcing, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline -Partnering with hiring managers and business leaders on diversity initiatives and attracting a diverse talent pool. -Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs. -Planning, organizing and coordinating meaningful employee engagement initiatives to continuously drive employee satisfaction and loyalty -Support staff with HR-related issues, including, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, vacation, misconduct, and any problem resolution -Work closely with payroll and other departments, exercising the utmost discretion while working with highly confidential information Job Competencies -Experienced partnering with tertiary education providers is an added advantage -Ability to communicate effectively through multiple organizational levels -Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills -Demonstrates business acumen and a strong commercial / entrepreneurial drive -Ability to work independently, navigate priorities and tasks assigned in an organized and timely manner with a strong sense of ownership -Possess a can-do, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced/unstructured environment -Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and operational initiatives
