About the role

Our company is seeking a Licenced company secretary to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time or part-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their corporate secretarial needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive company secretarial services, including maintaining statutory registers, preparing board and shareholder meeting minutes, and filing required documents with the relevant authorities
  • Advising clients on corporate governance best practices and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Assisting with the incorporation of new companies and the dissolution of existing ones
  • Collaborating with other members of the accounting and advisory team to deliver seamless support to our clients
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in corporate laws and regulations and proactively communicating updates to clients

What we're looking for

  • A professional qualification as a Licenced Company Secretary, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • A thorough understanding of Malaysian corporate laws and regulations, as well as experience in applying them in a practical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to providing high-quality service
