What an Inside Sales Rep does at HP:
- Determines operational objectives by studying business data; gathering information; and evaluating opportunities virtually
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports with recommendation actions.
- Meeting weekly sales KPI through sales activities
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Able to develop positive relationships and solving problems
- Skills include negotiation, communication, ability to influence others, risk taker, problem solver, and project management skills
- Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel
- Basic understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives.
- Understanding of a specific set of HP's products, software, and services.
- Able to communicate and work with country sales managers of identified opportunities, and overcome objections from countries
- Partners effectively with other stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient process management
- Experience developing positive relationships and solving difficult situation
- Able to work independently

Complexity
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment and/or minimal problem resolution is required.
