Key Responsibilities: • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and imaging in Operation Theatre, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. • Patient Interaction: Explaining the nature of procedures to patients, prepare them for imaging, and ensure their comfort and safety during the process. • Equipment Operation: Operate radiology equipment effectively and safely, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring maintenance and calibration of machines. • Image Quality Control: Review images for clarity and accuracy, adjusting techniques when necessary. Ensure images are suitable for diagnosis by radiologists or medical specialists. • Patient Safety & Care: Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, colleagues, and self. Adhere to hygiene and infection control practices. • Record Keeping: Maintain patient records accurately and securely, including medical history, imaging procedures, and any observations. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations. • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, doctors, and other medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results. • Emergency Procedures: Respond effectively to emergency situations requiring radiographic assistance, such as trauma cases. • Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in radiology. Participate in relevant training and professional development activities. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local health regulations, professional standards, and hospital policies regarding imaging procedures.
