Air-Conditioning Technician

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Air-Conditioning Technician to join our maintenance team in the M&E construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing air-conditioning systems and equipment. You will ensure that all air-conditioning units are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to Head of Maintenance. Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning systems and related equipment. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air-conditioning units and systems. Conduct repairs on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components of air-conditioning systems. Clean and replace filters, coils, and other parts to ensure system efficiency. Ensure all air-conditioning systems meet local safety and regulatory standards. Keep records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used. Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete maintenance tasks. Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or certification in Air-Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in air-conditioning maintenance, preferably in M&E construction or similar industries. Strong knowledge of air-conditioning systems, including refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical components. Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC systems. Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards for air-conditioning systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks in a variety of environments.
