AUTOMATION TESTING ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts, frameworks, and strategies to ensure the quality of software products. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to identify test cases and ensure a high standard of application performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: 1)Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent. 2)Build and enhance test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and scalability. 3)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into test cases. 4)Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Perform regression testing, system testing, and integration testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline. 5)Develop and maintain test data sets and environments to support test execution. Monitor and ensure the stability of automation pipelines within build systems (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions). 6)Investigate test failures, debug issues, and provide detailed feedback to the development team. 7)Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in software testing and recommend improvements to the testing process. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1)Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2)Experience: 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation. 3)Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.). 4)Experience with automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Postman (for API testing), or similar. 5)Knowledge of version control systems like Git. 6)Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like Scrum or Kanban. 7)Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 8)Experience with API testing and tools such as RestAssured or SoapUI is a plus. 9)Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is advantageous. 10)Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset. Preferred Qualifications: 1)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). 2)Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. 3)Experience in testing mobile applications for iOS and Android. 4)ISTQB or equivalent certification.
