Packaging Supervisor (Electrical Engineering)

Job Title: Packaging Supervisor Industry: Industrial Equipment Location: Kompleks Kejuruteraan Tractors, No. 1 Jalan Puchong, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. Working time: Mon-Fri (8:30AM-5:30PM) Working Duration: 12 Months contract with PERSOLKELLY (possibility to convert to permanent position based on performance) Salary: Salary RM3,000 to RM4,000 (based on qualification & education), statutory contribution & leave entitlement. REQUIREMENTS: • Certificate or Diploma in mechanical engineering. • Diploma holder is required but personnel with 5 - 7 years working experience in mechanical rotating equipment will be qualified. • SPM certificate is required but personnel with minimum 15 -17 years working experience in the same field will be qualified. JOB PURPOSE: • To carry out hands on fabrication, assembly & testing works for SDES turbine packaging department. • To monitor quality assurance from vendors for awarded packages. • Monitor contractor for assigned projects to be in accordance with approved drawings, MOS and other requirements. • To highlight to superior on any necessary resources need to complete the project in good order. • Reporting his scope of work and responsibilities to the direct and indirect immediate superior to ensure smoothness of the project. RESPONSIBILITIES: • To prepare necessary documents for preparation of fabrication documents. • Preparing all necessary MOS, PTW, JSA for commencement of work in the workshop. • Performing actual fabrication and assembly works for gas turbine packaging works. • Ensuring all tools, equipment and materials are well accounted for and maintained. • Immediately give a feedback or report to senior engineer/manager in the event there is any foreseeable challenges. • Monitor & supervise the jobs carried out by sub-contractors and ensuring their quality of work are in accordance with our Quality • requirements. • Ensure workshops are always in good and safe conditions. Attend, Monitor and compile all Quality related activities by vendors for awarded packages. ENVIRONMENT SAFETY & HEALTH (ESH) ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Understand and implement the company ESH policy. 2. Ensure implementation of safety culture tool.(SI,HR,RTS,Take 5 & JSEA). 3. Ensure implementation ESH activities planner program.(Inspections, Medical surveillance, JMP,ATO,PTW,CHRA & etc) 4. Ensures supervisors are aware of the importance of conformance to ESH policies and procedures and with the requirements of the ESHMS. 5. Ensures supervisors are aware of their legal obligations and need to demonstrate legal compliance. 6. Ensures supervisors are aware of the ESH consequences, actual or potential, of their work activities and the benefits of improved personal performance 7. Implements, monitors and continually improves all ESH related plans, procedures and work instructions by encouraging the active participation of supervisors. 8. Ensures responses to incidents, non-compliances/non-conformities are effective and provides sufficient and credible information to enable the accurate determination of causes and responds to investigation results to ensure lessons are learnt. 9. Ensure compliance of incident reporting matrix. 10. Provide direction in the event of an emergency. 11. Ensure compliance of Life Saving Commitment (LSC).
