Khmer Content Moderator

Job title: Content Moderator
Location: Damansara Utama, Selangor, Malaysia
Work shift: Local day time according to supporting country (Cambodia) & 8 working hour + 1 hour lunch break per day
Working Days: 5 days a week
Language required: Khmer and B2 English
Nationality: Cambodian
Visa Status: regardless of visa status as long as meeting Malaysian EP requirements

WFH allowed for those in Thailand and Cambodia

Job Description:

• Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, videos, and comments, ensuring they comply with platform rules and regulations.
• Identify and remove content that is offensive, harmful, or violates community guidelines (e.g., hate speech, violence, adult content).
• Flag or escalate content that requires further investigation or legal action.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve content moderation processes and guidelines.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to users when content is flagged or removed, if applicable.
• Monitor trends in content and user behavior to ensure the platform remains a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment while handling sensitive materials.

Requirments:

• Has strong verbal, written & comprehension skills in Khmer & English.
• Has content moderation experience (a plus but not required, fresh graduates are accepted).
• Is willing to work on day shift business hours (depends on Cambodia time).
• Meets the typing requirement (35WPM).
• This is a work-onsite position, hired employee will work in office located at Damansara Utama.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 per month
