- Communicate with other departments, including logistics, purchasing, and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
- Address operational challenges such as delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar supervisory role.
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory systems.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards related to warehousing.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience in training, mentoring, and evaluating staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams (logistics, sales, etc.) and external vendors.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy items.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in varied conditions.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training or certification.
- Six Sigma or Lean Warehousing certification (for advanced roles).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
- Customer service orientation for addressing client concerns related to warehouse operations.
