- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads, and identify relevant projects.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, e.g., Architects, Interior Designers, ID Contractors, Carpenters, etc.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and quotations to secure new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to keep management informed of market situation or further business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operation and management) to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.
- Follow up & gather feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolve objections/complaints by investigating & identifying problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to HOD or Management in alignment with company policies.
- Keep an updated database of all clients and prospects with notes on communication and status.
- Monitor monthly forecast, follow up on payment collection, and report submission to HOD, besides working to increase and define innovative promotional initiatives.
- Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients and other trade opportunities.
- Submit activity and result reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly or annual marketing plans.
- To assist with any other tasks as required by management.
- Possess at least SPM/Diploma/Degree. (Open to junior/senior candidates with/without experience in related industry.)
- Candidate with Marketing or related exposure in the Interior Design industry would be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with the ability to work both independently and with a team to achieve shared goals.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to take on new challenges.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word is required.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (both written and spoken) will be prioritized. Candidates fluent in other dialects would be an added advantage.
