About the Role
This role involves providing expert advice on trust, tax, estate, and legacy planning for High Net Worth (HNW) customers. Key tasks include pre-engagements with agents to assess and advise for HNW customers' needs, collaborating with external advisors, building strategic partnerships, staying updated on related tax and regulatory changes impacting the segment, and ensuring compliance with internal and market regulations. The role also contributes to developing future HNW services and supports various projects as required.- Subject matter expert on trust, tax and estate & legacy planning matters, and responsible to plan and deliver our High Net Worth (HNW) services in driving our business in the segment.
- Conduct preliminary appointments or meetings with agents to provide advise and help them understand their HNW customers’ wealth planning needs ie in the areas of tax, trust, legacy, estate planning, etc
- Provide direction and connect with relevant external tax and legal advisors to provide relevant advice for HNW customers.
- Kept abreast with the latest changes in tax and regulatory landscape to help agents respond to market changes and client service requests
- Actively develop, establish and manage strategic alliances with external partners to support and strengthen the deliveries of value added services to HNW customers
- Provide thought leadership and insights to future HNW proposition and ecosystem development and support related projects
- Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance/governance guidelines and market regulations
- Provide support to ad hoc projects arising from time to time
Min Job Requirements:
- We require a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, information technology, mathematics, or a related area.
- At least 8 years proven experience in insurance operations or compliance in financial institutions
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in independently prioritizing and managing various responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
