Customized Solution Engineer

Job Overview:

The Customised Solution Engineer is responsible for developing tailored engineering solutions to meet the specific needs of clients. This role involves collaborating with various departments, such as sales, R&D, and production, to design, test, and implement customised products or systems. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer requirements and technical specifications to develop tailored solutions.
• Design and create detailed 2D/3D models and engineering drawings for customised products.
• Develop prototypes or proof-of-concept models to validate designs.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, R&D, production) to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Manage multiple customization projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and project updates to stakeholders.
• Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients to understand specific needs and provide expert guidance.
• Conduct site visits, if necessary, to assess client environments and feasibility of custom solutions.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues during the implementation phase.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure all customised solutions adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Perform testing and validation of custom designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Identify potential risks in the solution design and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for improving customization processes and workflows.
• Research and integrate new technologies or materials to enhance product performance.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in engineering design or customization roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) for design and drafting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and standards.
• Experience with BOM preparation and cost estimation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
