Purpose of Position
Provide a pro-active and comprehensive service to the Singapore and Malaysia offices in all operational aspects of import ocean freight forwarding services provided by
Key Tasks
• Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct in daily endeavors for DSV Air & Sea.
• Promote, present and adhere to the Company's Core Values which are based on three key principles- Performance, Integrity and Professionalism
• Adherence to Work Instructions and all customer specific SOPs when executing the assigned tasks
• Adherence to Global standard processes /procedures and to Corporate Standard & Governance policies.
• Tracking all incoming shipments by pulling reports in CW1
• Working with reports and proactively monitor all incoming shipments by checking carrier/co-loader website or Port System on the estimate arrival details.
• Monitoring carrier’s/co-loader’s Notice of arrival and follow up with carriers/co-loaders for missing arrival notices
• Registration of shipments – shipment information entry into the forwarding system, CW1 on time and accurately.
• Check internal system data against external (carrier/co-loader/port) information and escalate to branches for resolution
• Update all systems- internal/ external with shipment data and other customer specific systems.
• Creation of Ocean Freight forwarding documents, e.g. prepare arrival notice, import manifest, DO release for carrier/CFS and Cartage Advice etc.
• Ensure all security arrangements and procedures are met
• Verification of the completeness and accuracy of all forwarding documents uploaded by Origins
• Ensure all dangerous goods/hazardous cargo documents are in place and procedures are met
• Close coordination and communication with overseas offices and Customer Service teams in the respective branches
• Escalation of all impediments to processing to direct reporting manager.
• Backup for the other team members as when necessary
• Sorting and uploading of documents into eDoc.
• Maintain accuracy for updating and meeting deadlines for monthly reports required by customers
• Perform auto-rating and auto-costing in CW1
• Participate in company projects and initiatives as required
• Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.

Experience & Education
With at least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar position in Freight Forwarding, Field Operations, Consolidation Planning and Scheduling
• Intermediate to advanced MSO applications
• CW1 knowledge
