Assess and design Capital Purchase Order (PO) change for prepayments
Description:
Capital Purchase orders (ZCAP & YSTD Capital Assigned POs) are not designed with prepayments in mind which can lead to accounting fallouts and business process issues. Assess Accounting Pain Points from Prepayment of Capital PO and design changes from a cross functional basis.
Scope:
- Engage with different teams to assess pain points across the finance and accounting organization
- Assess feasibility for customizing SAP to meet Micron’s requirements
- Perform UAT and change management communications as well as monitor for appropriateness during Hypercare
Supporting Team:
- Accounts Payable BPO Team
- Procurement Team
- IT Team
Deliverables:
- Capital POs are able to appropriately capture advance/deposit accounting entries and reflect them in real time in the PO Module
- Stretch Goal:
- Value added BI and Reporting for business process monitoring for Procurement/Finance teams
