Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture and fostering positive employee relations? Join our Human Resources team as an Intern in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and Performance Management! This internship offers hands-on experience in managing employee relations, learning industrial relations best practices, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives within a dynamic environment.
You Day-to-Day
Industrial Relations: Support the team in executing industrial relations processes, including addressing employee concerns and supporting conflict resolution. Participate in compliance audits and help maintain alignment with labour laws and HR policies. Support initiatives that promote positive labour relations and improve employee engagement.
Employee Relations: Collaborate with the IR/ER team to address employee grievances effectively and fairly. Assist in documenting performance evaluations and implementing performance improvement plans. Help in planning and executing employee engagement programs to foster a positive work environment.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Collect and analyze information related to employee relations, such as grievance patterns and disciplinary cases. Contribute to the preparation of reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights into key People & Culture metrics.
Performance Management: Assist in tracking employee performance metrics and identifying underperformance trends. Support the preparation and delivery of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), including drafting PIP correspondence and follow-up documentation. Participate in performance review processes and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Training & Awareness:
Support the creation of training materials for managers on handling employee relations issues and disciplinary topics. Participate in workshops and training sessions, gaining exposure to compliance and employee management best practices.
You Know-How Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interest in industrial relations, compliance, and employee engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel). Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Gain hands-on experience in a real-world HR environment. Work with experienced professionals and learn about HR best practices. Build your skills in data analysis, employee engagement, and labour law compliance.
