Junior Postgresql Database Developer

Client: Glancemy Studio Preference: Malaysian (Local) Location: Shah Alam, Contract (12 Months), Full Time JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the design, development, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases. Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability of database systems. Work with the development team to integrate databases into application workflows. Perform routine database maintenance, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Participate in the creation of database schemas and data models. Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Assist in writing documentation for database processes and operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database needs are met in various projects. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALICATIONS: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Basic understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts. Knowledge of SQL and experience in writing complex queries. Familiarity with database optimization techniques, indexing, and query performance. Understanding of database normalization and data modeling principles. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
